Sheb True
Sheb True joined Kennesaw State University in 1998 and is Vice Provost at Kennesaw State University (KSU), leading the Enrollment Services, Registrar, Global Education, and Data Strategy units, as well as strategic initiatives for Academic Affairs. He is also a Professor of Marketing & Professional Sales in the Michael J. Coles College of Business.
At KSU he has served as the Dean of the Graduate College, and the Dean of the College of Professional Education, and the Associate Vice Provost in Academic Affairs, and as the Associate Dean of Graduate Business Programs, the Sr. International Officer, EMBA Director, MBA Director, and Special Assistant to the Dean for Strategic Initiatives, as well as the founder of Georgia Advancing Veterans Education, the KSU Director of the Paul D. Coverdale Fellowship program for Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, and Director of the United Nations CIFAL and PRME programs.
Previously, he was an Assistant Professor and then Associate Professor of Marketing, and the Associate Director of the Global Comparative Management Systems programs at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, as well as a visiting professor at universities in Germany, Romania, and India. He has published research in over 50 articles, edited books and conference proceedings, received research awards, and served on the board of advisors for several non-profit organizations, and a marketing strategy consultant for many companies.
Dr. True received his Ph.D. from the University of Mississippi, an M.B.A. from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, and a B.B.A. from Stephen F. Austin State University. He has been certified as a Master Teacher, completed programs at the Harvard Business School for teaching the case method and at the American Graduate School of Business for teaching international marketing, a Certified Marketer by the American Marketing Association, and is a Six Sigma Green Belt.
